Agent Sessions
Every AI coding session, one glance away
Agent Sessions finds the Claude Code, Codex and Gemini sessions running in your terminals and shows how many are waiting for you, in the menu bar or the notch.
Free, with every tool and no account. macOS 14 or later, Apple silicon or Intel.
What it does
- Click a session to bring its terminal tab to the front, in iTerm2 or Terminal.
- A notification when a session finishes or asks you something, after it has worked for at least 10 seconds.
- Give each session a colour and an icon so you can tell them apart.
- Close Idle Sessions ends the ones left for days, tabs and all. Conversations are kept.
- Search past sessions and press ↩ to reopen one in a new tab.
What it asks for
Automation for your terminal, so Pandabar can show, open or close a session’s tab.
Questions
Which agents and terminals does it support?
Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI sessions. Bringing a tab to the front and opening new tabs works in iTerm2 and Terminal.
Does it read my conversations?
It reads your sessions on your Mac to show their state and titles. Pandabar has no analytics and sends none of it anywhere.
