The short version: Pandabar and every one of its tools are free. Pro is optional, renews until you cancel, and you can cancel whenever you like.

The app

Pandabar is a Mac app with 30 tools. It needs macOS 14 Sonoma or later. By downloading or using it you agree to these terms.

Free to use

Every tool is free, with no trial, no time limit and no account needed. You may install Pandabar on as many of your Macs as you like.

Pandabar Pro

Pro is an optional subscription that adds cloud sync (your notes, snippets, bookmarks, settings and pinned clips, end-to-end encrypted, with 100 MB of space) and Pandabar AI. It is tied to your account and works on every device you sign in to. You can buy it in Pandabar on your Mac, paid through Stripe, or in PandaClip through the App Store or Google Play.

Pro is billed monthly or yearly, at the price shown when you subscribe, and renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. If the price changes, we will tell you before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.

Cancelling and refunds

Cancel at any time: in Pandabar’s Account & Devices settings, which open Stripe’s billing page, or in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions if you subscribed there. Pro stays on until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again. Every tool stays free, and what you synced stays readable on your devices.

Refunds for subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play are handled by Apple or Google under their rules. For subscriptions bought through Stripe, write to us if something isn’t right. We refund wherever the law of your country requires it, and we’re reasonable about the rest.

Pandabar AI

Pandabar AI gives you Claude models from Anthropic without an API key of your own. Pro includes a monthly allowance that resets on the first of each month; when it’s used up, Pandabar AI pauses until the next month, and you can still use AI Assistant with your own key or a local model. Please use it as a personal assistant, not to resell access or run automated workloads. Your requests must also follow Anthropic’s usage policy. AI can be wrong: check what matters before you rely on it.

Fair use

Pro is for your own use. You may not share an account beyond yourself, resell Pro, or try to get around the sync space or the AI allowance. We may suspend Pro for an account that clearly abuses it, and we will write to you first unless the abuse is harmful or ongoing.

Your content

What you create and keep with Pandabar is yours. What you sync is end-to-end encrypted, so we can’t read it; see the privacy policy.

Other software

Some tools use other software or services that have their own terms, such as scrcpy for mirroring Android phones, or the AI provider you connect with your own key. Those terms apply to that software or service.

No warranty

We work hard to make Pandabar reliable, but it is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Keep backups of files that matter to you.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Pandabar Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

Changes

We may update these terms. The new version will be published here with a new date, and if a change matters to your subscription we will tell you before it applies.
