Press ⇧F7 and a scratchpad opens under the menu bar. Write in Markdown; it saves as you type.

What it does

On a Mac keyboard, F1 to F12 are pressed with fn, unless you’ve set them to work as standard function keys. Every shortcut can be changed or turned off in Settings.

Are my notes stored online?
Not unless you turn on cloud sync with Pro, and then only end-to-end encrypted.
Can I search them from Launcher?
